Samples are supplied free of charge to qualified organizations that provide detailed information about their requirements.

To determine which of our many products will best meet your requirements, we really need you to call and speak to us directly about your application(s) so that the samples we send out will be useful to you.

Food Color Samples

Please note that our normal packaging for our COLOREZE™ Food Color Concentrates is a 5 gallon pail!

Thus, if you only use a pound or two of food color concentrate at a time, we are probably not the best source for you. If this is the case, we would recommend that you contact a local bakery or confectionery supply distributor. They will have food color in smaller packaging.

We do custom pack in one gallon containers (our smallest packaging size), but there is Small Order Surcharge of up to $6.00 per pound depending upon the product format and how many gallons you order.

When you call, we will need to have the following information made available to us:

1. What type of products do you produce?

(i.e. "We manufacture lollipops and hard candy.")

2. What are you currently using for food color and in what size containers?

(i.e. "We buy water based liquids in one gallon jugs.")

3. What is your current source of food color? What is your average order size?

(i.e. "We buy from the XYZ company. We normally buy 12 one gallon jugs at a time of Red, and Blue, and 4 gallons each of Yellow and Orange.")

4. For Liquids Colors and Lake dispersions, what medium do you want the color dispersed into?

i.e. Water, or glycerin or vegetable oil,. etc.)

Release / Anti-Stick Lubricant Samples

Please note, our Release/Anti-Stick Lubricants are packaged in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums with net weights of between 40 pounds and 500 pounds. Our products are not available in spray cans.

As with our food color products, if you only use a small amount of release lubricant at a time, we are probably not the best source for you. You may want to try a product such as PAM from your local bakery supply house.

When you call, we will need to have the following information made available to us:

1. What type of products are you making?

(i.e. "We manufacture baked goods such as brownies, cookies, and pastries.")

2. What are you currently using to provide release for your products and in what size containers?

(i.e. "We buy a mineral oil and vegetable oil based product called ABC in 5 gallon pails.")

3. What is your current source of release lubricant? What is your average order size?

(i.e. "We buy from a local bakery distributor. We normally buy five 5 gallon pails per month.")

4. What type of sticking/release problem are you having?

(i.e. "Our brownies are sticking to stainless steel pans. The brownies are baked at 450 degrees F.")

Custom Formulations

At International Foodcraft, we specialize in developing custom formulations to meet specific manufacturing requirements. While there is no extra charge for custom blends, please be aware that there are minimum order quantities which must be achieved for us to make a custom product.

Domestic vs. International Samples

We normally send samples out via regular ground UPS, at our own expense, to qualified companies located within the continental United States.

For companies located outside of the United States, we do require that the recipient arrange for and pay for the freight. If you have a freight forwarder or courier service that you use, please supply us with their name and phone number, and the name of a contact there. We will arrange to have the samples sent to them for forwarding on to you.

Otherwise, we can email you with information about what the freight costs would be using international couriers that we work with. You can then wire transfer the funds or mail us a check in U.S. funds to cover the cost of the courier.

Upon receipt of the funds, we will send out the samples. The samples themselves are free of charge.
